This is one of the best Ram pickup trucks and is a great choice for work or play. It's billed as a light-duty truck that will work hard for you, no matter what you're doing. The Ram 1500 starts at $26,145 and is available in many trim levels, including the Big Horn, Rebel and Tradesman. The truck comes standard with a leather wrapped steering wheel, a Torqueflite 8 speed transmission, a UConnect system with a 8.4-inch touchscreen and 20-inch chrome clad wheels. The standard engine is a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine gives you plenty of power and acceleration. The Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab can seat up to six passengers and has a 5 foot, 7 inch bed. The truck gets 28 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city. There are many color options and trim configurations available, so you can get all of the features that are most important to you.

Like the other Dodge Ram truck packages, the 3500 has several trim options, including the Limited and Laramie Longhorn. Your total horsepower, torque and power will be dependent on which engine and trim package you choose. You will get up to 900 pound-feet of torque, 7,390 pounds payload and up to 31,210 pounds of towing capacity. The Dodge Ram 3500 comes standard with several features, including a leather wrapped steering wheel, power lumbar, a UConnect system with a 5-inch touchscreen, fog lamps, a 60/40 split folding backseat and an 18,000 pound Class V Trailer Tow Hitch receiver. The 3500 comes with either a Crew or Mega Cab so you get as much space as you need. Like the others, the Dodge Ram cargo options include the trademarked RamBox Cargo management system. This truck also has the option of a 6.4 liter, Hemi V8 engine for maximum power and performance. The 3500 starts at $32,285.

This truck is the best in class diesel max and is a perfect choice for towing and pulling cargo. The Chassis Cab is available in several trims, including the 3500 Tradesman and the 5500 Tradesman. This Dodge Ram truck comes standard with an electronically controlled throttle, a 6.4 liter Hemi V8 engine, 17-inch steel wheels and 40/20/40 split bench seats. The truck also comes with a 24-gallon combined dual fuel tank capacity, helping keep you from needing to get gas all the time. With the 6.7 liter Cummins Turbo Diesel 16 engine, you get 370 horsepower, 429 pound-feet of torque, a payload of 12,480 pounds and up to 19,950 pounds of towing. If you need a work truck that performs for you, the Dodge Ram Chassis Cab will get the job done with up to 37,500 GCWR. The truck starts at $32,870.


Special Editions of Dodge Ram Pickup Trucks

In addition to the basic Dodge Ram models, there are a wide range of special editions available too. Each has its own set of features that sets it apart from the rest. For example, the Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel comes with black Rebel wheels, a black brush guard and a completely black interior. The Ram Rebel Mojave Sand features a limited edition exterior color, a sport hood decal and an all black interior. The Dodge Ram 1500 night comes with a black honeycomb grille, black badging, Mopar performance parts and a sport performance hood. The Dodge Ram 1500 Ignition Orange is a bright color that isn’t available on other models and features 395 horsepower, deluxe interior with orange stitching and can tow up to 10,300 pounds. Dodge is also offering two upcoming special editions. The Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept truck is built for off roading and features a supercharged hemi engine, an hourglass body design and off road suspension. The Ram Power Wagon features 33-inch all terrain tires, blacked out headlights and transfer skid plates. These limited editions are not available at all dealers. In some cases, only a certain number of them are manufactured, so they aren’t as easy to find as the other Ram models on the market. You’ll likely have to special order a limited edition and can do so at any Dodge Ram dealership. Of course, their prices start higher than the basic models, so be prepared to spend a little more.
